Jagadguru Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, who is currently undertaking the Gavishti Go Raksharth Dharmayuddha Yatra across various districts of Uttar Pradesh, said in Ghaziabad that all activities related to the Shri Ram Temple should be carried out with complete transparency and accountability. He also highlighted the importance of guidance from religious leaders and reiterated his demand for cow protection and for the cow to be declared the National Mother.
As part of the Gavishti Go Raksharth Dharmayuddha Yatra, Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati arrived in Ghaziabad, where he was welcomed at Aapka Bhavan in Kavinagar. The event was attended by Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, Peethadheeshwar of Shiv Shakti Dham Dasna.
Addressing the gathering, Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said that the Shri Ram Temple is not merely a religious site but a symbol of faith and trust for millions of devotees. He said all work related to the temple should be conducted with full transparency and accountability so that the trust of devotees can be further strengthened.
He said religious leaders play an important role in guiding society and safeguarding religious values. According to him, discussing religion alone is not sufficient, and the guidance and suggestions of religious leaders should also be given importance.
He stated that transparency must be maintained in the administration of religious institutions and religious sites. He said this strengthens systems and enhances public trust. He also stressed that honesty and accountability should be prioritised in matters related to the Shri Ram Temple.
Speaking about the objective of his yatra, Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said the protection and promotion of cattle are the need of the time. He said cows hold a special place in Indian culture and tradition and that extensive efforts should be made for their protection.
He reiterated his demand for declaring the cow as the National Mother and said the government should take concrete steps in this direction. He stated that cow protection is not only a religious issue but also a social and cultural responsibility.
During the programme, Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati also shared his views and raised questions regarding certain issues related to the Shri Ram Temple Trust. He called for a transparent inquiry and appropriate action. A large number of devotees and local residents were present at the event.
Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said the purpose of his Dharmayuddha Yatra is to inspire people towards cow protection, the values of Sanatan Dharma and social awareness. He said religious gatherings would be organised in various districts as part of upcoming programmes, where issues related to religion, culture and social welfare would be discussed.
