Bhopal: A minor dispute escalated into a major bloody conflict in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. A quarrel over a mere 150 rupees at a dhaba in the Katara Hills police station area flared up so intensely that it led to a brawl and severe assault between two groups. In this violence, a tandoor rod pierced the stomach of a young man named Dinesh Rajput, whose condition is reported to be serious. The police have registered counter-cases based on complaints from both sides.

Dispute Started Over 150 Rupee Outstanding Bill at Dhaba

According to information, on Sunday night around 9 PM, Avdhnarayan, Ritik, and a companion arrived at Sethji Dhaba and ordered mutton. The total bill came to 650 rupees, but they only paid 500 rupees. The dhaba owner, Kishore Choukse, and his sons demanded the outstanding 150 rupees.

This minor monetary dispute quickly escalated into a bloody conflict. When the outstanding amount was demanded, an argument ensued between both parties, and the dispute rapidly intensified.

Brawl and Vandalism

As the fight escalated, one young man called his villagers. Soon, a large number of people gathered at the dhaba, leading to a brawl, stone-pelting, and extensive vandalism. The enraged crowd broke the windows of several cars at the car service center located near the dhaba.

Dhaba owner Kishore Choukse and his sons Priyanshu and Sunny, who were involved in the violence, also sustained injuries. Similarly, Avdhnarayan, Ritik, Prince, and Devi Singh were also hurt in the altercation.

Serious Injury and Hospitalization

Dinesh Rajput suffered the most severe injury in this dispute. His condition remains critical after a tandoor rod pierced his stomach. All the injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.

The police arrived at the scene, brought the situation under control, and recorded statements from both parties. Dinesh is being monitored during his treatment at the hospital.

Katara Hills Police Register Counter-Cases

Katara Hills police have registered counter-cases based on complaints from both sides. Police officials stated that the violence escalated due to a minor dispute, resulting in several injuries.

Officials have warned that the law will be strictly enforced in such incidents. The police are increasing surveillance in the area, and efforts are also being made to mediate a settlement between both parties.
