Yogi Adityanath Issues Stern Diwali Warning to Miscreants, Announces Bonuses and Free LPG

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath warned miscreants before Diwali. Police deployed, security checkpoints established. 1.4 million employees to receive bonuses, and 18.6 million families to get free LPG cylinders.

UP News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern warning to miscreants ahead of Diwali. He made it clear that anyone attempting to disrupt the joy and enthusiasm of the festival would be immediately sent to jail. CM Yogi stated that no leniency would be shown towards rioters and troublemakers anymore. This government will ensure the safety of citizens at all costs and make every effort to celebrate festivals peacefully and harmoniously.

Speaking at an event in Lucknow, the Chief Minister said, "If anyone tries to disrupt the happiness and enthusiasm of this festival, the prison bars will be waiting for them. No matter who they are, they will be put behind bars without delay. Festivals and celebrations should be observed peacefully and with harmony. Over the past eight years, all festivals across every community in Uttar Pradesh have been celebrated peacefully."

Financial Benefits for Employees and Public on Diwali

On the occasion of Diwali, Chief Minister Yogi has given a significant financial gift to approximately 1.482 million employees in Uttar Pradesh. For the financial year 2024-25, the state government has decided to provide a bonus of 6,908 rupees to all eligible employees. This will incur a total expenditure of 1,022 crore rupees. This move has boosted the morale of employees and enhanced their festive joy.

Free LPG Cylinders under Ujjwala Scheme

CM Yogi also announced the provision of two free LPG cylinders to 18.6 million mothers and sisters in the state under the Ujjwala Scheme. For this scheme, a provision of 1,500 crore rupees has been made in this financial year. Its objective is to provide cooking gas facilities to the poor and deprived sections and to make their lives easier.

Peaceful Festive Environment in Uttar Pradesh

Yogi Adityanath emphasized that over the past eight years in Uttar Pradesh, every festival, be it Diwali, Holi, Eid, or Christmas, has been celebrated peacefully by all communities. He stated that the state government is committed to ensuring the safety of all citizens and will not tolerate any mischief or violence.

The CM also stated that the administration has already heightened security during the festivals. Police forces have been deployed and security checkpoints established in cities. Furthermore, social media is being monitored to promptly prevent any provocative activities.
