Forty new residential schools have been established under the Department of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Approval has now been granted for the creation of 1800 new posts for academic and non-academic staff at the 10+2 level in these schools.

This step will not only strengthen the education system but also provide students with a better academic environment through the appointment of qualified teachers and staff. The government states that the appointment of qualified and sufficient numbers of teachers is essential for quality education, making this decision highly important.

New Medical Colleges and Hospitals in Seven Districts

The meeting also emphasized the expansion of health services. The state government has approved proposals to open new medical colleges and hospitals in the districts of Kishanganj, Katihar, Rohtas, Shivhar, Lakhisarai, Arwal, and Sheikhpura.

The government believes that the establishment of these medical colleges will not only provide better medical education opportunities for students but also increase access to health services in rural and backward areas. Local residents will no longer have to travel to major cities for better treatment.
