In the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, 65% voter turnout was recorded, which is considered the highest to date. After the polling, Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the public wants change and that a Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) government is going to be formed in Bihar.

Patna: Polling took place on Thursday for 121 seats in the first phase of the Assembly elections in Bihar. Approximately 65 percent voter turnout was recorded in this phase. It is reported that this is the highest voter turnout percentage in Bihar's electoral process to date. Witnessing this turnout, various indications and claims are being made in political circles. The most prominent among these claims has come from Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav.

Akhilesh Yadav's Claim

Immediately after the first phase of voting, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav posted on X. He wrote that even though elections have been held for half the seats, the outcome is clearly visible. Akhilesh Yadav stated that a Mahagathbandhan government is going to be formed in Bihar. He described this change as a sign of the India Alliance's unity and positive politics. According to Akhilesh, the people of Bihar are ready for change, and its result will be seen in the form of a new government.

Akhilesh Yadav made several accusations against the NDA alliance both before and after the polling. He stated that the public is troubled by the NDA's policies.
