Bihar Politics Heats Up: Jitan Ram Manjhi's Sarcastic Remarks Target Chirag Paswan Amid Alliance Talks

Seat sharing and alliance dynamics are always a topic of discussion in Bihar's politics. In this context, Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi has made sarcastic remarks about Chirag Paswan, which could stir up political circles ahead of the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Patna: Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has once again taken a dig at Chirag Paswan. Speaking during JP Nadda's visit to Bihar on Saturday, he made a statement that clearly appears to be aimed at Chirag Paswan. Manjhi has expressed his views on Chirag Paswan on several occasions before, and his latest statement has further heightened political activity.

Jitan Ram Manjhi's Statement: 'No Tug-of-War Among Alliance Partners Regarding Seats'

Speaking to the media in Gaya on Saturday, Manjhi stated that there is no tug-of-war among alliance partners regarding tickets. He clarified that the discussions during electoral deliberations focus solely on the roles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said, "Everyone will contest on the number of seats that both of them decide. If anyone wants to test their strength against this, they are free to do so."

This statement comes at a time when political analysts are viewing it as an indirect warning to Chirag Paswan. Earlier, Manjhi had commented on Chirag, saying, "Chirag Paswan will accept the seats he gets. He has seen his own situation in the 2020 elections."

Manjhi's Reaction to JP Nadda's Bihar Visit

In his conversation with the media, Manjhi also mentioned that JP Nadda's visit to Bihar was natural, and political and electoral discussions were bound to take place during it. He said, "The election dates are approaching, so seat sharing will also be discussed. If we need to negotiate with the NDA, we will put forth our points. There is no tug-of-war among alliance partners regarding tickets."

Manjhi's message is clear: discipline and leadership directives within the alliance will be paramount, and anyone who goes against them may face political consequences.

Manjhi Also Targets Tejashwi Yadav

Jitan Ram Manjhi also commented on Tejashwi Yadav's 'Bihar Adhikar Yatra' (Bihar Rights March). He suggested that opposition parties should undertake a 'Penitence March,' as the public is still suffering from the consequences of the actions of their ancestors. He claimed that while the government provided land to the OBC community, most of it has been occupied by supporters of Tejashwi Yadav.

Manjhi stated, "They have no right to speak about law and order. When theft and kidnapping used to happen, they used to broker compromises. Have there been any caste riots or religious frenzy today? No. Those who cannot see in daylight are birds. Perhaps they are those birds." This statement clearly indicates that Manjhi is not only supporting the policies of his own alliance but also making jibes at the opposition and other parties.
