Bihar Scholarship 2025: The Bihar government has started online applications for the Mukhyamantri Post Matric Scholarship 2025 (Bihar Post Matric Scholarship 2025) for students belonging to Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes. Under this scheme, eligible students of the state can reduce the burden of their higher education expenses. The application process has commenced on August 25, 2025, and will continue until September 25, 2025. Eligibility for Application

The scholarship amount will be directly deposited into the student's bank account only after all the documents have been verified.

First of all, students are requested to continuously check their application status on their SMS, email and PMS portal and make corrections if necessary. The scholarship amount will be given only after successful verification of the uploaded caste, income and residence certificates. If any document is found to be incorrect, the student can correct it and re-upload it.
Students are advised to regularly check the status of their application through their Aadhaar number and date of birth. If the application record is not available, the student should re-apply. In addition, students should ensure that their bank account is seeded with their Aadhaar number and that the correct account has been linked to Aadhaar by the bank, otherwise the scholarship amount will not be received.
In the final stage, the student has to submit the hard copy of the application to the institute and it is mandatory to check the status of Aadhaar seeding in the bank from the UIDAI website.
