BJP Accuses Opposition of Election Rigging and Undermining Voter Lists

BJP Attacks Opposition on Election Rigging and Voter List Controversy. Sambit Patra stated that the opposition wants to spread instability. He targeted Rahul Gandhi and the Congress, urging them to support constitutional institutions.

New Delhi: The BJP on Monday attacked opposition parties regarding the issue of election rigging and irregularities in the voter list. Party spokesperson Sambit Patra said that Congress and other opposition parties have always accused constitutional institutions. He emphasized that the opposition wants to spread instability in the country and bring the public to the streets.

Sambit Patra specifically targeted Rahul Gandhi. He said that if there has been election rigging, then Rahul Gandhi should resign first, because he attained his parliamentary seat through the same election. Along with this, he also gave the example of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating that she has also repeatedly become Chief Minister through the Election Commission, so her resignation could also be demanded.

Election Commission Responds

Sambit Patra stated that the Election Commission has responded point-by-point to all the allegations made by the opposition. Despite this, the opposition parties are creating a ruckus and raising pointless issues. He said that this is only a part of politics and the opposition is using it to spread unrest. He said that the people of the country are intelligent and do not get caught up in such issues.

The BJP spokesperson stated that the opposition parties want to create unrest in the country and inspire people to take to the streets. But the public has always maintained faith in constitutional institutions and does not fall for rumors spread for political interests.

Allegation of Including Names of Infiltrators in the Voter List

Sambit Patra stated that attempts are being made to include the names of ineligible people in the voter list. He said that in Bihar, a large number of infiltrators are being added to the voter list in an attempt to put pressure on the Election Commission. He targeted the opposition, saying that the yatras being undertaken by Congress and other parties will not have any political benefit.

He said that it is disappointing that some families are accusing constitutional institutions of theft and rigging, while the Election Commission has already given a point-by-point technical rebuttal in a press conference. He believes that the opposition wants to create an atmosphere of anarchy in the country and take political advantage of it.

Allegation of Constant Attacks on the Gandhi Family

The BJP MP accused the Gandhi family and Congress of constantly attacking constitutional institutions. He said that there is no institution that Congress, Rahul Gandhi, and his family have not attacked. He cited the example of the Ayodhya Ram Temple verdict, stating that allegations were leveled against the Supreme Court as well.

Sambit Patra mentioned the opposition's attacks on the Indian Army. He said that the army chief was even called a goon, and after Operation Sindoor and the air strike, the opposition demanded evidence. He said that the opposition considers the Prime Minister's chair as a birthright, while this position is earned through service and hard work.

Targeting the Politics of Opposition Parties

Sambit Patra said that the opposition parties are constantly questioning constitutional institutions in an attempt to gain political advantage. He believes that this is a strategy to weaken public trust. He said that no democratic system, Election Commission, or judiciary in the country is affected by the allegations of the opposition.

The BJP spokesperson emphasized that the opposition's strategy is to spread instability in the country. He warned that the public has always been intelligent and does not get caught up in such political ploys.
