Babulal Soren, son of former Chief Minister Champai Soren, has been fielded from Jharkhand's Ghatshila (ST) constituency. Babulal had previously contested the assembly elections on a BJP ticket but faced defeat. This time, he has been nominated for the by-election, focusing on the party's strategy and the family's political legacy.
BJP Candidates in Jammu and Kashmir
In Jammu and Kashmir, Agha Syed Mohsin has been named the BJP candidate from the Budgam (Constituency 27) seat, while Devyani Rana has received the ticket from Nagrota (Constituency 77). Both leaders will soon file their nominations. By choosing these names, the party aims to establish a b position in the by-elections.
Odisha and Telangana Candidates
For the Nuapada (Constituency 71) by-election in Odisha, Jai Dholakia has been fielded by the BJP. In Telangana, Lankala Deepak Reddy has been nominated from Jubilee Hills (Constituency 61). These constituencies are considered crucial for the BJP due to their political and social significance.
These by-elections across four states are significant for the party. Winning these seats will provide the BJP an opportunity to strengthen its position in the assembly.
