BSNL Reduces Validity and Data Benefits for Several Popular Recharge Plans

BSNL has cut the validity and data benefits of several of its recharge plans. The validity of the Rs 1499 plan has been reduced to 300 days, while some cheaper plans have seen a reduction in both data and validity. These changes have increased the impact of inflation on customers and raised concerns among digital users.

BSNL Recharge Update: BSNL has recently reduced the validity and data in many of its popular recharge plans, which will provide customers with fewer benefits than before. For instance, the validity of the Rs 1499 plan has been decreased from 336 days to 300 days, while the data in the Rs 897 plan has been cut from 90GB to 24GB. This change is impacting customers due to inflation and has become a cause for concern for digital users. Users are advised to select new plans by visiting BSNL's official website or app.

Changes in Validity and Data

BSNL has reduced the validity of several of its popular recharge plans, meaning customers will get less time and data than before. The validity of the Rs 1499 plan has been cut from 336 days to 300 days, although the data has been increased to 32GB. The Rs 997 plan has seen a 10-day reduction, and its validity is now 150 days.

Several cheaper plans have also been affected. The validity of the Rs 897 plan is now 165 days, and its data has been reduced from 90GB to 24GB. For the Rs 599 plan, validity is 70 days; for the Rs 439 plan, it's 80 days; and for the Rs 319 plan, it's 60 days. The validity of the Rs 197 plan has become 48 days, while data and SMS benefits remain the same as before.

Impact on Customers and Reaction

The impact of inflation is clearly visible on BSNL's customers due to these changes. The data reduction in some plans has particularly raised concerns among digital users. Although data has been increased in higher-value plans, the overall benefit has been affected by the reduction in validity.

Customers are advised to choose new plans according to their usage and check the complete information available on BSNL's official website or application. Experts suggest that this step might have been taken for the company's financial stability.
