Teachers' Day 2025: On the special occasion of Teachers' Day, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai launched the Mission Antariksh and Project Jai Vigyan campaigns from the Chief Minister's residence complex with the aim of increasing awareness among school children about science and space science. On this occasion, two significant MoUs were signed between the District Administration Raipur, Igniting Dreams of Young Mind Foundation, and Vigyan Bharti, which will provide children with information in the field of space science and innovation.

Addressing the children on this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that this initiative is not limited to just imparting knowledge but is a significant step towards fostering a scientific outlook and curiosity in children.

Congratulates Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla for His Achievement

Chief Minister Sai felicitated Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla for his contribution to the country's space mission and conveyed best wishes from the people of the state. He said that Shubhanshu Shukla's achievement is not only a matter of pride for the country but also an inspiring example for the youth of the state.

Appreciating the role of teachers, the Chief Minister said that teachers are guides and motivators for students. He extended his heartfelt wishes to all teachers on Teachers' Day and urged children to draw inspiration from their teachers to reach new heights.

Science is Not Just Limited to Laboratories

Addressing the children and teachers, Chief Minister Sai explained that science is not confined to laboratories but is a way of life. He said that science empowers children to ask questions, reason, and find solutions to problems. He expressed confidence that the workshops, science exhibitions, competitions, and innovative projects organized under Project Jai Vigyan will provide students with opportunities to learn new things and boost their confidence.

The Chief Minister stated that through this initiative, children will not just be consumers of knowledge but creators of new discoveries and ideas. This is the true foundation of a self-reliant India and a science-based society.

Call to Children to Draw Inspiration from Shubhanshu Shukla

Chief Minister Sai urged children to draw inspiration from Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, work hard in their areas of interest, and bring glory to the nation. He said that the field of science and space offers immense opportunities for the young generation, and embracing it is the first step towards success.

The Chief Minister also mentioned on this occasion that the MoUs signed in the field of education and science will provide new learning opportunities related to space and science for the children.

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla Expresses Gratitude

Astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla thanked Chief Minister Sai, stating that it is his responsibility to pass on the opportunities the country has given him to future generations. He said that the Chief Minister's initiative is enabling the organization of programs that inspire children to reach new heights.

Shukla said, "When the head of the state gives importance to events related to science and education, it has a positive impact across the entire state. A scientific mindset and spirit of innovation develop within children."

Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, Collector Raipur Gaurav Kumar Singh, school students and teachers from across the state were present on this occasion. The Chief Minister praised this special initiative by the district administration and said that the objective of these MoUs is to foster curiosity and confidence in science among children.
