Congress's Voter Rights Yatra Concludes in Patna with Opposition Leaders Rally

The 14-day Voter Rights Yatra of Congress will conclude in Patna. Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders will march from Gandhi Maidan to the Ambedkar statue and address a public gathering. The yatra's objective is to protect democracy and strengthen voter rights.

Bihar: The 14-day 'Voter Rights Yatra' of the Congress will conclude on Monday in Patna, the capital of Bihar. This yatra has covered a distance of 1,300 kilometers. Several senior leaders of the Congress and the 'INDIA' alliance will participate in the concluding event.

Rahul Gandhi and Opposition Leaders to Participate

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will lead this concluding program. Several prominent leaders of the opposition alliance 'INDIA' (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) will be present on this historic occasion. These include Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, CPI (ML) Liberation General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, CPI General Secretary D. Raja, CPI(M) General Secretary M. A. Baby, Shiv Sena (Ubt) leader Sanjay Raut, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) Working President Supriya Sule, and Trinamool Congress leaders Yusuf Pathan and Lalitesh Tripathi.

March from Gandhi to Ambedkar Begins

Rajesh Rathore, Chairman of the Bihar Congress Media Department, stated that the 'Gandhi to Ambedkar' march will commence on Monday at 11:15 AM from the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Floral tributes will first be offered at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi.

Following this, the procession will proceed via S.P. Verma Road, Dak Bungalow Chowk, Kotwali Police Station, Nehru Path, and Income Tax Gol Chakkar, reaching the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar near the Patna High Court.

To Address a Public Gathering

After paying homage at the statue of Dr. Ambedkar, Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders will address a public gathering. This rally will focus on the message of strengthening democracy and voter rights.

A New Beginning for the Protection of Democracy

Congress leader Pawan Khera described this yatra as a 'religious pilgrimage' in which people from all religions and sections of society participated. He said that the conclusion of this yatra in Patna is not an end, but a new beginning for the protection of democracy.

Patna Decorated with Posters and Banners

The city of Patna has been completely decorated to welcome opposition leaders from across the country. Posters of Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, as well as RJD chief Lalu Prasad and leader Tejashwi Yadav, have been put up at prominent locations. These posters convey a message of opposition unity.
