Exam Update: The schedule for the entrance examination of Delhi government's ambitious project, CM Shri Schools, has been revised. Earlier, this examination was scheduled for September 6, 2025, but the new date has now been fixed as September 13, 2025. This examination will be conducted for admissions to classes 6, 7, and 8. The Directorate of Education (DoE) has stated that admit cards for admission will be available for download from September 10.
New Exam Date and Admit Card Release Information
Previously, the entrance examination for CM Shri Schools was proposed for September 6. However, students now have an additional week, as the exam will be held on September 13, 2025. Applicants can download their admit cards online from September 10. Earlier, admit cards were slated for release on August 23, but the schedule has now been altered.
Exam Pattern Details
The entrance examination for CM Shri Schools will be OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) based. The test will be conducted in both Hindi and English to provide all students with the opportunity to solve the paper according to their convenience.

- Total Time: 150 minutes (2.5 hours)
- Language: Hindi and English
- Subjects: Hindi, English, General Awareness, Mental Ability, and Mathematical Aptitude

Certain rules have been established for admission to CM Shri Schools. Fifty percent of the seats will be reserved for students attending government or government-aided schools. These include –

- New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) schools
- Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV)
- Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Navodaya Schools)
