Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the pride of Bundelkhand and a renowned storyteller of the country, has enhanced India's reputation in Uganda. The Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham met with Ugandan Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja and held spiritual discussions on humanity, global love, peace, and harmony.
Uganda: Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham and a famous storyteller, hoisted the flag of Indian Sanatan culture in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. On this occasion, he met with Ugandan Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja and discussed global peace, humanity, and cooperation. Baba Bageshwar also invited the Prime Minister to visit Bageshwar Dham, stating that the Indian way of life and the path of Sanatan Dharma are the best for world peace and human unity.
Appreciation for Humanity and Service Works
During the meeting, the Prime Minister of Uganda was informed about the social and humanitarian works being carried out by Bageshwar Dham. When she was told that Bageshwar Dham in India organizes marriages for poor daughters, feeds thousands of needy people daily, and is working on major projects such as the construction of a cancer hospital, she praised these efforts.
Baba Bageshwar said, "We draw inspiration for all these works from our scriptures and Indian culture. Our tradition conveys the message that 'Man is Narayan,' therefore service is considered the greatest religion."
Presence of the Indian Community and Overseas Indians
Several industrialists and overseas Indians of Indian origin were also present on this occasion. Prominent guests included industrialist Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, President of the Indian community Paresh Mehta, former MP Sanjay Tanna, and Deepak Dorlata associated with the Rajasthani Association. They described the efforts of Bageshwar Dham as inspiring not only for India but for the entire world.
On this occasion, Baba Bageshwar extended a formal invitation to Ugandan Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja to visit India and Bageshwar Dham. He said that India's Sanatan culture considers the entire world as one family and wishes for the welfare of all. Baba Bageshwar said that only a Sanatani believes in 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' – the world is one family. This is the essence of our great culture and the real path to world peace.
