Railway Cancels/Partially Cancels 6 Trains Ahead of Diwali & Chhath Due to Heavy Rain in Jammu Section

For those traveling for Diwali and Chhath, the railway has partially or completely canceled 6 trains due to heavy rainfall in the Jammu-Madhopur section. Passengers have been advised to make alternative travel arrangements and update their tickets.

Jammu. The railway has issued an important announcement for passengers traveling home for Diwali and Chhath. Recent heavy rainfall in the Jammu-Madhopur rail section has damaged the railway infrastructure. Consequently, Northern Railway has partially canceled several important trains. This may cause difficulty for passengers in reaching their destinations.

Canceled and Partially Canceled Trains

Northern Railway has clarified that these trains will no longer proceed to Jammu and will only operate up to an intermediate station. Previously, these trains were canceled until October 15, but now the railway has decided to keep them partially canceled until further notice. The primary reason for this decision is to repair the damage to the railway infrastructure in the Jammu-Madhopur section.

Affected Trains and Their New Status
