DSSSB Recruitment 2025: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released a recruitment notification for various posts of Chauffeur and Dispatch Rider-cum-Process Server. A total of 20 positions will be filled under this recruitment drive, including 08 posts for Chauffeur and 12 posts reserved for Dispatch Rider-cum-Process Server.
Candidates can apply online from August 26th, 2025, on the official website dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The last date to apply is September 24th, 2025, until 11 PM.
Eligibility and Educational Qualification
To apply for these posts, candidates must have passed class 10th from a recognized board. For some posts, preference will be given to candidates with experience as a driver in the Indian Armed Forces or Central Armed Police Force.
The age of the candidates should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 27 years as of January 1st, 2025. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST candidates and 3 years to OBC candidates.
Application Fee and Exemption
General, OBC, and EWS candidates will have to pay Rs. 100 as an application fee. However, female candidates, PwD candidates, and SC/ST candidates are completely exempted from paying the application fee.
Selection Process
The DSSSB selection process will be conducted in several stages. Candidates will be selected based on a written examination, an endurance test, and a driving test.
The written examination will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions related to the subject, carrying 100 marks. The duration of the examination will be one and a half hours, and there will be a negative marking of one-fourth mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the next stage.
Details of Examination and Training
After succeeding in the written examination, candidates will be called for the endurance test and driving test. The physical fitness and driving skills of the candidates will be evaluated in this test. Selected candidates will be given specific instructions for training, and during the training, they will be familiarized with job responsibilities and safety rules.
