DU 2025: Delhi University (DU) has presented a significant opportunity for its former students. A Special Chance has been initiated for students who, for various reasons, were unable to complete their undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), or professional courses. Under this opportunity, students can complete their unfinished degrees by appearing for a maximum of four papers. The university has opened the online application process for this Special Chance until September 15, 2025. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure their future.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is specifically for students who enrolled in undergraduate (UG) programs between 2012 and 2019, or in postgraduate (PG) programs between 2012 and 2020. If you were associated with DU during this period and were unable to complete your studies for any reason, this is a golden opportunity for you. This opportunity is also available to students who participated in previous Special Chance (Chance 1, 2, 3) initiatives but have still not been able to complete their degrees.

Application Process and Last Date
DU has clarified that applications will only be accepted online. Interested students can apply until 11:59 PM on September 15, 2025. No applications will be accepted after this. Students are instructed to carefully fill in all the necessary details and upload the correct documents. After the application, the verification process at the college, faculty, and department levels will be completed by September 19.

Special Chance Fees and Rules
Under the Special Chance, students will have to pay a fee of ₹3,000 per paper. This fee will only be accepted through online mode and will not be refunded under any circumstances after submission.
Students who have participated in previous Special Chances but have not been able to complete their degrees will have to pay a fee of ₹5,000 per paper. Such students must upload their old admit card and previous result at the time of application. Students can apply for a maximum of four papers only. The university has clarified that no refunds will be made after the fee is submitted.
The Special Reason for the Special Chance
This is the fourth time that Delhi University has provided the Special Chance facility. Previously, students have benefited from this opportunity three times. This initiative is part of the special program for DU's centenary year (2022). The university's aim is to give a chance to those students who had to discontinue their studies midway for various reasons.
