Elon Musk's xAI Makes Grok Imagine Free for All Users

Elon Musk has gifted users worldwide with free access to his company xAI's multimodal AI tool, Grok Imagine, for a limited time. This tool, which enables the creation of images from text and videos from images, was previously only available to premium users.

New Delhi: Elon Musk, owner of Tesla and X (formerly Twitter), has made his AI company xAI's multimodal tool, Grok Imagine, freely available to users worldwide for a limited time. Recently launched, this tool was initially offered only to Super Grok and Premium Plus subscribers on iOS, but is now open to all users, including those on Android. With it, any user can create an image from text or convert an uploaded image into an AI video of approximately 15 seconds.

From Premium to Free for All

Initially, Grok Imagine was launched as a premium feature for iOS users, limited to Super Grok and Premium Plus subscribers. Subsequently, the company rolled it out on the Android platform as well.

Now, Elon Musk has made a significant decision to make this tool free for all users worldwide. This means that anyone can now generate AI images from text or create an approximately 15-second video from their uploaded image.

How Easy is Grok Imagine to Use?

Grok Imagine's interface is extremely user-friendly. To use it, you first need to install or update the Grok app on your smartphone. After that, the user simply needs to go to the Imagine tab, tap on the image icon, upload an image, and enter a text prompt. A new AI image is created in a few seconds.

Moreover, you can also convert the generated image into a video. To do this, simply tap on the "Make Video" option below the image. The tool will then create a 15-second animated video from that image.
