He said, "Bangladesh has already been invited to participate in the competition. Neither Pakistan nor Bangladesh has yet sent its confirmation, but if Pakistan does not participate, the Bangladesh team may take its place."
The Men's Hockey Asia Cup is not only the premier hockey tournament in Asia, but also a qualifying tournament for the Hockey World Cup to be held in Asia Cup 2026.
