Farmer Murdered in Maharashtra Over School Fee Dispute and Transfer Certificate

A shocking incident has emerged from the Parbhani district of Maharashtra, sending shockwaves throughout the area. In the Zero Phata area of Purna tehsil in the district, a farmer lost his life after requesting the return of his daughter's school fees and her transfer certificate (TC). The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Jagannath Hengde, who had gone to the school to collect the documents and fees after removing his daughter's name from the school.

Fee Dispute Led to Murder

According to reports, Hengde got into an argument with the school operator and his wife regarding the fee refund upon arriving at the school. Eyewitnesses say that the argument escalated to the point where the school operator and his wife brutally assaulted the farmer. Hengde succumbed to his injuries on the spot. It is reported that the accused couple also has connections with a political party, which has made the matter even more sensitive.

Murder Case Registered

Upon receiving information about the incident, Purna police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem while starting an investigation into the whole matter. According to police officials, an FIR has been registered against the school operator and his wife under murder charges. The initial investigation revealed that the farmer had been demanding a fee refund for the past few days, which the school administration was unhappy with.

The police say that they are conducting a thorough investigation, taking all aspects into consideration, and strict legal action will be taken against the culprits. After this gruesome incident, there is an atmosphere of outrage in the area. Local villagers and family members have demanded the immediate arrest of the accused from the administration and justice for the deceased's family.
