Govind Dev 'Brahm' has announced a new film titled The Accidental Cockroach Party, based on the student movement linked to the alleged paper leak issue and events associated with the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Speaking in Jaipur, he said the film would present the developments during the movement along with aspects that, according to him, remained outside the public domain.

During an interaction with the media, Govind Dev 'Brahm' said the film is not intended to oppose the student movement. He stated that its objective is to present, in a cinematic format, the alleged political activities and controversial aspects associated with the movement. He added that the demands of students affected by the paper leak were entirely justified, but claimed that the movement was also used for purposes beyond those demands.

Govind Dev 'Brahm' said paper leak incidents affected the future of thousands of students and that their protests over the issue were justified. He said many candidates had spent years preparing for competitive examinations before being impacted by examination irregularities. According to him, the film is not intended to deny the students' concerns but to depict the circumstances that, in his view, expanded the controversy during the movement.

He said the film's central theme would focus on the alleged events and circumstances behind the movement that, according to him, received limited public attention. He claimed that some people associated with the movement had shared experiences suggesting that the situation could have become more serious had the protests continued for a few more days. However, he did not present any independent evidence to support these claims. He said the events portrayed in the film should therefore be viewed as a creative presentation.

Responding to a question, Govind Dev 'Brahm' said the film would also refer to political aspects related to the movement. He said the objective is not to target any political party or individual but to explore whether a genuine student movement can be used to advance a political agenda. He added that the film would give equal importance to the students' demands and their struggle to maintain a balanced narrative.

He said the film would also address the issue of paper leaks, transparency in competitive examinations, the mental health of young people, and broader issues related to the education system. According to him, many students experienced psychological stress because of examination irregularities, while some cases also involved reported suicides. He said the film would seek to portray these social issues with sensitivity.

At the event in Jaipur, Govind Dev 'Brahm' unveiled the film's poster and said work on the screenplay had already begun. He added that details regarding the cast and other aspects of the production process would be announced in due course. No official announcement has been made regarding the film's release date, director, cast, or production company.

Govind Dev 'Brahm' said his primary background is in writing and that he has previously been associated with several television and film projects. He claimed to have worked on the script for the reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. He also said he wrote and produced the film Adhuri Khwahish, based on the transgender community, which he said received appreciation on various platforms. He added that his interests later shifted toward spirituality and Sanatan subjects and that he is now working on social and cultural themes.

Political analysts said films based on sensitive subjects such as student movements could attract differing reactions. According to them, supporters may view the film as presenting an alternative perspective on the events, while critics may question the facts and claims depicted in it. Experts also said films based on real events require factual balance and responsible presentation to provide audiences with broader context.

The film has only been announced at this stage. Additional details regarding its story, cast, production, shooting schedule, and release are expected to be announced at a later stage.
