HBSE 2025: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has announced that students who passed the Senior Secondary (Class 12th) examination between March 1990 and March 2024 will now have an opportunity to improve their marks. Under this scheme, students can apply for improvement in one or two subjects. This initiative is for students who did not achieve satisfactory results in their exams or wish to increase their scores.
Application Process and Deadline
The Board has clarified that the application process will commence on October 31, 2025, and can be completed until November 15, 2025. All interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website www.bseh.org.in . The Board has also made it clear that no applications will be accepted after the final deadline.
Number of Subjects for Improvement
Students can apply for improvement in a maximum of two subjects. If a student wishes to improve only one subject, they can also apply. This opportunity is available to all students who passed the Senior Secondary examination between March 1990 and March 2024.
Application Fee and Required Documents
The Board has set an application fee of 10,000 rupees for this process. While applying, students must upload a self-attested copy of their passing certificate. This certificate must be attested by a gazetted officer or the principal of a government/recognized private school. This document is required to ensure that the application is being made by the correct student.

The Haryana Board stated in its press note that this opportunity has been provided keeping in mind the welfare of the students. The Board said, “Candidates who have passed the Sr. Secondary examination from March 1990 to March 2024 can apply online for marks improvement from October 31, 2025, to November 15, 2025, on the Board's website www.bseh.org.in. Along with the application, it is mandatory to have a photocopy of the passing certificate attested by a gazetted officer or the principal of a government/recognized school.”
