IBPS SO Exam 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit card for the Specialist Officer (SO) Recruitment Exam 2025. Candidates appearing for this exam can now download their admit card by visiting the official website ibps.in.
When will the IBPS SO 2025 Exam be held?
The IBPS SO Recruitment Exam will be conducted on August 30, 2025, at various exam centers across the country. Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to reach the center on time. It is better to arrive at least one to two hours before the exam starts to avoid any problems.
Recruitment to be held for a total of 1007 posts
A total of 1007 posts will be filled through the IBPS SO Recruitment 2025. Applications were invited from across the country for these posts. With the admit card now released, candidates have limited time left for proper exam preparation.

Candidates must bring the following documents with them to appear for the examination.
- IBPS SO Admit Card 2025
- A passport-size photograph
- Identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, or Driving License
- Entry to the examination center will not be permitted without the admit card and identity proof.

- Click on the “CRP Specialist Officers” link on the homepage.
- Now, log in by entering your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Your admit card will open on your screen.
- Download the admit card and also take a printout.
Exam Pattern
The IBPS SO Prelims Exam will have a total of 150 questions. These questions will be asked from English, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
- Total Marks: 125
- Time: 2 hours
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

- Reach the examination center well in advance.
- Carry the admit card and photo ID with you.
- Do not bring any type of electronic device such as mobile phones, smartwatches, etc., during the examination.
