After losing the first match, India is looking to make a comeback in the series, while Australia currently leads the series 1-0. Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first. 

Indian batsmen faced difficulties initially, but half-centuries from Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer guided the team to a b total. India scored 264 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs.

India's Innings 

India had a poor start. Xavier Bartlett provided early breakthroughs by dismissing captain Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli cheaply. Kohli was out for a duck for the second consecutive match. Subsequently, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer steadied the innings with a 118-run partnership for the third wicket.

Rohit missed out on a century, while Shreyas also couldn't stay at the crease for long. After their dismissals, the Indian innings faltered slightly. Subsequently, Axar Patel stabilized the team with 44 runs. Finally, a 37-run partnership for the ninth wicket between Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh pushed India's total past 260.
