The weather is likely to remain the same for the next three days. A warning of heavy rain with lightning and thunderstorms has been issued in the western and central parts of Uttar Pradesh.
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in many districts including Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut, Aligarh, Agra, Bareilly and Kanshiram Nagar. The administration has appealed to the people living in low-lying areas to remain alert.

In Bihar, the water level of major rivers like Ganga, Kosi and Ghaghra is increasing due to rain. Heavy rain, lightning and flood warnings have been issued in districts like Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Begusarai, Khagaria, Bhojpur and Siwan. The administration has declared holidays in schools and relief camps are being prepared.

Heavy rain with b winds in Rajasthan, risk of landslides in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand
A warning of heavy rain with b winds has been issued in districts like Bharatpur, Karauli, Dhaulpur and Jhalawar in Rajasthan. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also forecast heavy rainfall in districts like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Sikar, Pali and Nagaur. There is a possibility of heavy rain and landslides in Shimla, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh.
It is advised to be careful while traveling on mountain roads and highways. At the same time, a red alert has been issued in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Nainital in Uttarakhand due to the possibility of heavy rain and cloudburst incidents. The revenue and disaster management departments of all affected states are on alert.
