Ajay Kumar Mandal Resigns: A major sensational development has emerged in Bihar politics today. JDU MP Ajay Kumar Mandal has resigned from the party and expressed his displeasure by writing a letter to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. In his resignation, the MP has leveled serious allegations against the party, claiming that in recent months, decisions are being made within the organization that do not bode well for the party and its future.
What Ajay Kumar Mandal Wrote
'For the past 20-25 years, I have been serving the public as an MLA and MP in the Bhagalpur region. Throughout this long political journey, I have considered the Janata Dal (U) as my family, working to strengthen the party organization, its workers, and public relations. However, in recent months, decisions are being made within the party that are not right for its future.'
The MP specifically expressed dissatisfaction regarding the ticket distribution process for the assembly elections. He stated that despite being the local MP, he is not being consulted in any way. Preparations are underway to give tickets to individuals who have never contributed to the party organization, while the opinions of the district president and local leadership are being completely ignored.
Serious Allegations Leveled Against the Party
'My objective is not to express any displeasure or protest. My sole purpose is to protect the party and your leadership from any future harm. If outsiders or inactive individuals continue to be prioritized in this manner, the party's roots will weaken, and this will directly impact the Chief Minister's leadership.'
Ajay Mandal clarified that his resignation is not due to a personal dispute, but rather due to the disregard for the party's organizational decisions and democratic processes.
Ajay Kumar Mandal has worked for the party for a long time in Bhagalpur and Naugachhia districts. He played a crucial role in strengthening the party organization, working alongside district presidents, in-charges, and local workers. His resignation could intensify political turmoil within the JDU, especially as the assembly elections approach.
