She subsequently assumed her responsibilities as a police officer and is currently serving as the City Superintendent of Police in Katni.
The matter gained attention after a transport businessman accused Pachisiya of alleged extortion. Following the allegations, the administration withdrew charge of three police stations from her jurisdiction as a precautionary administrative measure during the investigation.
