In a major operation in Canada, police have arrested Khalistani terrorist Inderjit Singh Gosal. He was a close associate and personal security officer of SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Gosal was found to be involved in weapons offenses and the Khalistan referendum.
Canada: A major crackdown has occurred on Khalistani activities in Canada. Inderjit Singh Gosal, a close associate of Khalistani coordinator and declared terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has been apprehended by the police. Gosal has been found involved in weapons offenses and terrorism-related cases. This arrest comes at a time when a meeting was held at the National Security Advisor (National Security Advisor - NSA) level between India and Canada, where India demanded strict action against Khalistani terrorists.
Pannun's Close Associate and Personal Security Officer
Inderjit Singh Gosal was not merely a part of the Khalistan separatist movement; he was also the Personal Security Officer (PSO) of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the chief of the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) organization and a declared terrorist. SFJ has long attempted to fuel the Khalistan issue in India. Pannun himself has been declared a terrorist by the Indian government, and now his close associate has also been arrested.
Previously Arrested
This is not the first time Gosal has been apprehended by law enforcement. In November 2024, Canadian police had also arrested him in connection with violence at a Hindu temple in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). At that time, he was released on certain conditions.
Now, he has been arrested again on charges of involvement in weapons-related offenses and terrorist activities. This clearly indicates that Gosal was continuously active in anti-India activities and remained a key coordinator (Coordinator) for Khalistan-backed groups.
Key Coordinator of the Khalistan Referendum
Gosal was also responsible for organizing the Khalistan referendum (Referendum) in Canada. He is considered the main coordinator of this campaign. For the past few years, Khalistan separatist organizations have been attempting to hold anti-India referendums in countries like Canada, the UK, and the USA. Gosal played a crucial role in this campaign.
India has consistently denounced these activities as a conspiracy against itself and has bly opposed such events.
Canadian Internal Report Revealed
In early September 2025, the Canadian government released an internal report. It acknowledged that Khalistani terrorist groups are active in the country and are receiving financial support (Funding) to spread terror against India.
The report named organizations such as Babbar Khalsa International and International SYF. These groups are already listed as terrorist organizations under Canada's Criminal Code.
The report also stated that these extremist activities are now being carried out through small groups rather than large organizations. These groups are not formally bound to any organization but are involved in advancing the Khalistan agenda and anti-India activities.
