Khan Sir Applauds Bihar's Domicile Policy for Teachers, Criticizes SSC Corruption

Khan Sir stated that this decision is entirely in the interest of the students and will benefit millions of young people in the state. He also made another demand to the government regarding the TRE-3 examination. Khan Sir said that if the government also released a supplementary result, it would be a great relief for those students for whom this is their last attempt. He said that many students emotionally share their problems and they were hoping that a supplementary result would also be obtained through the Chief Minister's intervention.

Recalling the students' long struggle, Khan Sir said that students had been staging protests for eight months, facing batons in Gardanibagh, but finally the government listened to their voice. He questioned the attitude of the officials, saying that many times it seemed as if the students' time was being deliberately wasted.

Raised Questions on Corruption in SSC

Khan Sir also criticized the SSC (Staff Selection Commission). He alleged that there are people sitting in the commission who are no longer fit for any work. He said that the institution that was given the tender to conduct the examination by the SSC was already blacklisted, so this decision is under suspicion.

He also termed the police action as inappropriate, saying that the language used with the teachers was inhumane. He said that the police should not forget that teachers are fighting not for themselves, but for the future of the students.

Announcement by Nitish Government

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on Monday on X (formerly Twitter) that in teacher appointments in Bihar, residents of the state will now be given priority. Instructions have been given to the education department to amend the rules for this. This new domicile policy will be implemented from TRE-4. Also, the government plans to organize TRE-4 in 2025 and TRE-5 in 2026.
