Krishna Chhathi, celebrated six days after Krishna Janmashtami, holds special religious significance. On this day, devotees offer panjiri, makhan-mishri (butter and sugar), kheer (rice pudding), and panchamrit (a mixture of milk, yogurt, ghee, honey, and sugar) to Lord Krishna. It is believed that this worship and offering bring happiness and prosperity to the household and fulfill all the wishes of the devotees.

Main Offerings to Lord Krishna on Chhathi
On this auspicious occasion, several traditional dishes are offered to Lord Krishna. Some of the main offerings are as follows:
- Panjiri – Panjiri, made from coriander powder, ghee, sugar, and dry fruits, is considered Lord Krishna's favorite offering. It is an easy-to-make and quickly prepared prasad (offering).
- Makhan-Mishri – The most beloved offering of Lord Krishna. Offering it on Chhathi pleases the Lord and fulfills the wishes of the devotees.
- Kheer – Traditional kheer, made from rice, milk, and sugar, is a part of every auspicious occasion. Offering it to the Lord on Chhathi brings auspicious results.
- Panchamrit – Panchamrit, made from milk, yogurt, ghee, honey, and Gangajal (Ganges water), is an extremely sacred offering. Offering it brings special merit.
- Other Offerings – In addition to these, fresh fruits, sweets, and savory snacks made at home are also offered to Lord Krishna.
Worship Method of the Day
On Krishna Chhathi, after taking a bath in the morning, the home temple is cleaned. After this, Lord Krishna is bathed with Panchamrit, dressed in yellow clothes, and adorned with flowers. During the worship, Tulsi leaves, makhan-mishri, kheer, and fresh fruits are offered. Incense and lamps are lit, and the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" is chanted. In the evening, women sing devotional songs and bhajans, enjoying the festivities and wishing for the happiness and prosperity of their home and family from Lord Krishna.
