LIC AAO Admit Card 2025: The wait for admit cards for the Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE) Recruitment Examination 2025 from LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) is now nearing its end. Candidates wishing to appear for this examination will soon be able to download their LIC AAO Admit Card 2025 online.
According to the notification, LIC preliminary examination hall tickets will be made available approximately 7 days before the exam date. Based on this, admit cards may be released on September 26 or 27, 2025. Candidates will be able to easily download their call letters by visiting the official website licindia.in and entering their login details.
A total of 841 positions will be filled in LIC through this recruitment.
LIC AAO and AE Recruitment 2025 Exam Schedule
LIC has prepared to conduct the recruitment process according to the pre-determined schedule this time.
- Preliminary Exam (Prelims Exam) – Will be held on October 3, 2025.
- Main Exam (Mains Exam) – Proposed for November 8, 2025.
Only candidates who pass the Prelims exam will get a chance to appear for the Main Exam (Mains Exam). This will be followed by an interview / personality test, and finally, a final merit list will be prepared.
Admit Card Download Process
LIC has clarified that admit cards will only be available online. Hall tickets will not be sent to candidates via post or any other medium. Follow these steps to download the admit card.
- First, visit LIC's official website licindia.in.
- On the homepage, go to the Career section and click on the admit card related link.
- Enter your login details (Registration Number and Password).
- After submitting the information, your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout to carry on the day of the exam.
Candidates are advised to carefully check all information provided on the admit card after downloading it, such as name, roll number, examination center, and reporting time. In case of any error, immediately contact LIC's helpdesk.
Prelims Exam Pattern
The LIC AAO Prelims Exam will have a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. This exam will consist of three sections, with different marks and time limits allocated for each.
- Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions
- Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Questions
- English Language (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension) – 30 Questions
The total number of questions will be 100, and the maximum marks will be 70. Candidates will be given 60 minutes to complete the examination.
It is important to note that the marks obtained in the English section will be of a qualifying nature. Only the scores from Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude will be included in the final merit list.
Mains Exam and Interview
- Candidates who pass the Prelims exam will be included in the Main Exam (Mains Exam).
- The Mains exam will be conducted on November 8, 2025.
- Subject-wise questions will be asked in this exam, and the marks will directly count towards the merit list.
- Candidates who pass the Main exam will eventually be called for an Interview / Personality Test.
- Only after passing all stages will a candidate's name be included in the final merit list.
