A young man was brutally murdered in the Yamunanagar area. The deceased, 25-year-old Diwakar Patel, was a resident of Ghurpur and had gone to his maternal grandparents' house in the Karchhana area. It is reported that he had gone to meet his married lover. Police have considered a love affair to be the main reason in this case.

This horrific incident occurred on Monday midnight in Yamunanagar. Diwakar was beaten with sticks and an iron rod. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and began investigations. The deceased's father suspected old animosity in this murder
and filed a complaint against a total of six people. According to the police, five people, including the husband and father-in-law of the woman with whom Diwakar had relations, are in custody and are being interrogated.
Deceased's Personal Details
Diwakar Patel was a JCB operator and was unmarried. He had gone out around midnight, reportedly having come to his 'maternal uncle's place'. During that time, some people attacked him. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but doctors declared him dead.
Direction of Investigation
The deceased's father has alleged that the accused individuals first called Diwakar and then killed him. One of the accused had informed the police by saying that a young man had entered the house with the intention of theft—an attempt was made to mislead the investigation in this manner.
Police claim to have found Diwakar's number from the woman's mobile phone. Mobile Call Detail Records (CDR) are being checked.
