A sensational revelation has emerged regarding the murder of a recovery agent in Lucknow. The agency operator orchestrated the crime through his associate due to an illicit affair with the victim's wife. The police have arrested both accused and sent them to jail.
Lucknow: A story of love affairs and mutual disputes has surfaced behind the brutal murder of a recovery agent in the Banthara area of the state capital, Lucknow. Unveiling the case, the police have arrested the agency operator and his employee. Investigations revealed that the agency operator instigated his own employee to commit the murder due to his wife's relations with the victim. This incident has sent shockwaves across the entire locality.
Agency Owner Planned Murder Amidst an Affair
The body of 26-year-old Kunal Shukla, a resident of Destiny Colony in Banthara, was found bloodied at his office in Dadupur on Tuesday. He had succumbed to injuries inflicted on his head and face. Initially, the matter appeared suspicious, and Kunal's family accused the agency operator, Vivek Singh, of the murder.
Police investigation clarified that Vivek Singh's wife and Kunal Shukla had a close relationship. This did not sit well with Vivek, and he harbored growing resentment towards Kunal. This dispute related to his wife had become a cause of infamy for him, and for this reason, he persuaded his employee, Wasim Ali, to carry out the murder.
Wasim Murdered Kunal Driven by Debt Dispute and Greed
During the investigation, it was also discovered that there was a financial transaction between Wasim and Kunal. Wasim was already upset due to Kunal not returning the money. Vivek exploited this anger, incited him to commit the murder, and in return, enticed him with the promise of a house.
As per the plan, Vivek had already placed a crowbar in the office. On the night of the incident, he informed Wasim that Kunal was alone. Seizing the opportunity, Wasim went to the office and killed Kunal by striking him with the crowbar. After the murder, he fled the scene, discarding the weapon and hiding his clothes.
Accused of Murder Arrested
Following the incident, the police deployed the Banthara police station and the surveillance team for investigation. CCTV footage and call details revealed that Vivek and Wasim had communicated before the murder. Furthermore, Wasim's location was found near the crime scene. These pieces of evidence proved to be crucial clues for the police.
When both accused were taken into custody and interrogated, they broke down under the weight of evidence and confessed to the crime. On Wasim's identification, the police recovered the blood-stained clothes, the murder weapon, and the mobile phone that was thrown into a drain. Subsequently, both were sent to jail.
Vivek's Criminal Past
Police investigation revealed that Vivek Singh had been involved in criminal activities previously. He had previously served jail time in 2012 in a murder case in the Sarojini Nagar area. Additionally, he has two cases registered against him at the Banthara police station. This time, personal relationships and monetary disputes pushed him back onto the path of crime.
At the time of the incident, Vivek and Wasim were also present near the crime scene. When the police gathered all the evidence, it became clear that Vivek had orchestrated Kunal's elimination through a premeditated conspiracy. Currently, both accused are in jail, and further legal proceedings are underway.
