A leader of the Marxist–Leninist (Male) party visited Killi village in Bihar following a recent incident and met the affected family, offering assurances of support and assistance.
The leader listened to the concerns of the victim’s family and said the matter would be pursued seriously. He stated that pressure would be exerted on the administration to ensure strict action against those responsible and that efforts would be made at all levels to secure justice.
Villagers also presented their grievances and shared details of the incident, alleging that the expected action against the accused has not yet been taken, leading to dissatisfaction among residents.
The leader questioned the functioning of the administration, stating that prompt action is necessary in such cases to maintain public trust in the law. He said the party would be compelled to launch protests if appropriate action is not taken soon.
He also said he would speak with concerned officials and demand a high-level investigation into the matter. The leader assured the affected family that they are not alone and that the party stands with them.
