Monsoon Wanes Across India, With Heavy Rain Alerts for Specific Regions

The influence of the monsoon in the country is now beginning to wane. The pace of rainfall has gradually reduced from North India to South India. According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, most states in the country are now expected to receive respite from the rain.

Weather Update: With the monsoon weakening across the country, changes in weather conditions are being observed in many states. According to the Meteorological Department, people are finding relief as rainfall decreases in most states. However, heavy rain alerts are still in effect for Bihar, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, after the rain subsides in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, temperatures are expected to rise, potentially increasing the impact of heat.

Weather Conditions in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh

Delhi-NCR has not experienced continuous rain for the past four days. The Meteorological Department has not issued any rain-related alerts for September 14 either. The water level of the Yamuna River is now rapidly receding, and people affected by the floods are returning to their homes. However, a slight increase in temperature is anticipated, which will lead to a feeling of heat among people.

In Uttar Pradesh, the probability of rainfall in most districts on September 14 is negligible. The Meteorological Department has classified all districts as green zones. While heavy rains in the past few days had created flood-like situations in several areas, river water levels are now gradually decreasing.

Heavy Rain Alert in Bihar, Sunshine in Jharkhand

A heavy rain alert has been issued for several districts of Bihar on September 14. People in Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Supaul, Khagaria, and Bhagalpur have been advised to remain vigilant. The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of thunderstorms and lightning in these districts. An increase in the water levels of rivers and streams is expected due to the rain, necessitating caution among the public.

In Jharkhand, sunshine is expected in most districts on September 14, and temperatures may rise. However, cloudy conditions might prevail in some areas, making the weather pleasant. The possibility of rain is almost negligible.

Heavy Rain Alert in Uttarakhand, Warning in Himachal Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Uttarakhand on September 14. Residents in Nainital and Bageshwar districts are urged to be cautious. Due to severe damage caused by cloudbursts in Uttarakhand in recent days, the administration has issued instructions to exercise caution. A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Mandi, Kangra, and Sirmaur districts of Himachal Pradesh on September 14.

The Meteorological Department has advised the local population to stay alert and avoid going near rivers and streams. Due to heavy rains from June until now, over 400 people have lost their lives in Himachal Pradesh, making administrative vigilance crucial.
