MPESB Announces PSTST 2025 Recruitment for 13,089 Primary School Teacher Posts

A golden opportunity awaits aspiring teachers in Madhya Pradesh! The MPESB has announced recruitment for 13,089 posts under PSTST 2025. Applications will begin on July 18th and the examination will be held on August 31st.

MPESB PSTST 2025: The Madhya Pradesh government is recruiting a large number of teachers with the aim of ensuring quality primary education in the state's schools. The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has issued a notification for the Primary School Teacher Selection Test 2025 (PSTST 2025). This recruitment will be conducted under the School Education Department and the Tribal Affairs Department. It includes 10,150 posts for the School Education Department and 2,939 posts for the Tribal Affairs Department. A total of 13,089 teachers are to be recruited.

Application Dates and Process

Interested and eligible candidates can apply from July 18, 2025. Applications will be accepted only online through the MPESB's official website, esb.mp.gov.in. The last date to apply is set as August 1, 2025. Candidates who need to make corrections to their applications can do so between August 3 and August 5, 2025.

Educational Qualification Requirements

To apply for these posts, candidates must have passed the PSTET 2020 or PSTET 2024 examination. In addition, they should have passed Higher Secondary (12th) with at least 45 percent marks. Candidates must also possess qualifications such as a two-year D.El.Ed, a four-year B.El.Ed, or a B.Ed degree with a graduate degree. This educational qualification must be from a recognized institution.

What will be the age limit?

The minimum age for these posts is set at 21 years. The maximum age for male candidates of the general category is 40 years. While for female candidates of Madhya Pradesh, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and candidates with disabilities, the maximum age limit is 45 years.

Application Fee Information

General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹500. The application fee for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and candidates with disabilities who are residents of Madhya Pradesh is set at ₹250. The application fee will be paid online.

Examination Pattern and Dates

The PSTST 2025 exam will be conducted on August 31, 2025. This exam will be conducted online at various centers across the state. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The exam will consist of a total of 100 questions, which will include subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Each question will carry one mark and all questions will be multiple-choice (MCQ).

Selection Process and Merit

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the examination. A merit list of successful candidates will be prepared and the appointment process will be completed after verification of documents. This entire process will be transparent and phased.

Candidates first need to go to the website esb.mp.gov.in. There, they must click on the PSTST 2025 application link available. After this, register, fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and submit the form by paying the fee. After submitting the application, keep a printout of it safe.
