NEET UG Counselling 2025: Registrations for NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round-3 are beginning today from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Students who were unable to secure a seat in the first two rounds will get an opportunity to apply in this round. The process of registration, seat choice filling, and locking will be conducted online on MCC's official website mcc.nic.in. The last date is set as October 5, 2025.
Round 3 Registration Process
To participate in NEET UG Round-3 counselling, candidates must first visit the MCC website mcc.nic.in. On the website's homepage, click on the "New Registration" link. After filling in the required information, log in to your account. After logging in, pay the prescribed registration fee and submit the form.
It is crucial to keep a printout of the submitted form safely. This may be useful in the future for any grievances or during document verification.
Dates for Seat Choice Filling and Locking
Along with Round 3 registration, candidates must prepare a list of their preferred seats. Seat choice filling can be done from September 30 to October 5, 2025. Candidates must ensure that they have correctly filled all options according to their preferences.
The last date for choice locking is October 5, 2025. Candidates can lock their choices until 11:55 PM on October 5. No changes will be possible after this time.

Eligibility for Round 3 Counselling
Candidates participating in Round 3 counselling fall under the following categories:
- Students who registered for Round 2 counselling but did not get a seat.
- Round 1 seat cancelled during verification.
- Allotted a seat in Round 2 but opted for an upgrade.
- Allotted a seat but the candidate did not join.
- Resigned from a seat within the stipulated time in Round 2.
- It is mandatory for all these candidates to apply in Round-3.
Round 3 Result and Reporting
Seat processing for Round 3 will take place from October 6 to 7, 2025. Subsequently, the results will be declared on October 8, 2025. Students who secure a seat in this round will need to report to their respective institutions between October 9 and 17, 2025.
Final Stage: Stray Round Counselling
After Round-3 counselling, the final stage of stray round counselling will be conducted. Registration, choice filling, and locking for this round will be available from October 22 to October 26, 2025. Seat processing will occur from October 27 to 28, and results will be released on October 29, 2025.
Students allotted a seat in this final round can report to their respective institutions and secure admission between October 30 and November 5, 2025. The stray round is primarily for those students who did not get their preferred seat in previous rounds or who vacated a seat.
