Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming action thriller ‘O Romeo’ has recorded a b start in advance bookings two days ahead of its theatrical release. The film, also starring Triptii Dimri in a lead role, is scheduled to release in cinemas on Friday, 13 February 2026.
Advance Booking Figures Before Release
Advance bookings for ‘O Romeo’ opened on Tuesday, 10 February. According to Sacnilk, by Wednesday morning, 16,577 tickets had been sold, generating approximately Rs 38.01 lakh in gross revenue. Including blocked seats, the total figure reached Rs 1.43 crore.
Trade analysts indicate that the film has the potential to secure a place among the top 10 Valentine’s Day openings. The estimated production budget of the film is reported to be between Rs 60 crore and Rs 65 crore.
Valentine’s Day Weekend Expectations
Industry experts estimate that ‘O Romeo’ could collect between Rs 6 crore and Rs 8 crore on its opening day. If the pace of advance bookings accelerates further, the opening day collection could reach Rs 9 crore to Rs 10 crore.
This year’s Valentine’s Day weekend is witnessing limited competition in Hindi cinema. ‘Border 2’, starring Sunny Deol, has slowed down at the box office, while ‘Mardaani 2’, starring Rani Mukerji, has nearly completed its box office run.
