Naqvi's Clear Rejection of Rumors

Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has completely refuted the rumors trending on the social media platform 'X'. These rumors claimed that preparations were underway to remove President Asif Ali Zardari from office and that Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir was being prepared to replace him. Naqvi called it a "malicious campaign," saying that "this defamation, targeting the President, the Prime Minister, and the Army Chief, is a conspiracy by political and external vested interests". He clearly stated that neither had Zardari been asked to resign nor had such ideas been discussed.

Conspiracy of Wealth: Who is spreading the rumors?

Mohsin Naqvi wrote that "We know who is spreading this rumor, why, and for whose benefit it is being done." He also indicated that the purpose of such disinformation is to spread distrust among the country's institutions and create political instability. Naqvi criticized such people, saying that they are being aided by "hostile foreign agencies."

Strength in Relations between Army and President

The important point that the Home Minister made is that President Asif Ali Zardari has a "b and respectful relationship" with the leadership of the armed forces. He clarified that Army Chief Asim Munir's attention is not focused on any "political change" or "position," but on the strength and stability of the country.
