Purnea. Bihar MP Pappu Yadav on Tuesday targeted central ministers, accusing them of failure in development work. He said that while many leaders from Bihar are ministers in the central government, not a single significant project in the state has been inaugurated by them to date. The MP specifically criticized Giriraj Singh, Lalan Singh, and Jitan Ram Manjhi, challenging them to start flights from Gaya if they had the courage.
Pappu Yadav made these remarks in a conversation with the media a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Purnea. He stated that the claims of the BJP and central ministers are limited to publicity, and actual development work is not visible on the ground for the public.
Pappu Yadav's Sharp Reaction to Central Ministers
MP Pappu Yadav said that central ministers only deliver speeches and try to claim credit when they visit Purnea. He said, "If Jitan Ram Manjhi has the courage, why doesn't he start flights from Gaya as well? The whole of Bihar deserves development, but these leaders have only engaged in politics on stage."
He further added that he had a positive meeting with the Prime Minister and was personally invited by him. During this meeting, the MP also submitted a memorandum demanding AIIMS, an international stadium, and other development projects, receiving assurances that these projects would be completed within two years.
PM Modi's Purnea Visit and Inauguration of Development Projects

Pappu Yadav Questions on Infiltration Issue
Pappu Yadav made b remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement regarding stopping infiltrators. He said that the central government has not taken sufficient steps to prevent infiltration in the last 11 years. He termed raising this issue during election time as mere political propaganda. He added that he had deliberately stepped off the stage earlier to ensure he did not become part of political speeches and mislead the public.
MP's Plans
Pappu Yadav informed that his memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister included demands for several important projects. These include AIIMS in Purnea, an international-level stadium, development of road and railway networks, along with other social and economic reforms. He stated that these projects will be completed within two years, and regular contact will be maintained with the central government for this purpose.
The MP appealed to the public to remain active in pursuing these projects through the local administration and the MP's office, and to monitor the development work.
Purnea Airport: Symbol of Regional Aspirations
The Purnea Airport has long been a part of the aspirations of the people of the Seemanchal region. With the construction of the new terminal at this airport, regional passengers are expecting convenience and an increase in economic activities. However, Pappu Yadav reiterated that mere inaugurations will not solve the problem; real development requires time and concrete plans.
