A local legislator in Patna-Khagaria convened a meeting with school officials and teachers to review the quality of education, availability of resources, and existing challenges in schools. The legislator stated that any compromise with education would not be tolerated and directed all stakeholders to perform their responsibilities with integrity.
The legislator instructed teachers to ensure regular student attendance, conduct classes on time, and focus on improving the standard of education. Directions were also issued to maintain discipline in schools and promote additional activities for the overall development of students.
The legislator noted that schools face multiple issues, including a lack of basic facilities, resource constraints, and systemic challenges. He stated that these issues would be addressed in phases rather than all at once and directed officials to prioritise and resolve problems gradually to improve the education system.
He said that the government is continuously working to improve the education sector and that results should be visible at the ground level. He added that action would be taken against those found negligent. The legislator also emphasised the importance of parental involvement in children’s education.
During the meeting, several teachers and officials presented their concerns and suggestions, to which the legislator assured serious consideration. He said that improving education requires collective effort and cannot depend on a single individual or department.
The legislator stated that regular reviews of schools would be conducted in the future to ensure proper implementation of decisions. He expressed confidence that collective efforts would lead to improvement in the condition of schools in Khagaria and provide a better educational environment for students.
