PM Modi Inaugurates India Mobile Congress 2025: A Global Tech & Innovation Hub

The India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. This mega event is seeing participation from over 1.5 lakh visitors, 7,000 delegates, and 400 companies from more than 150 countries. The theme for IMC 2025 is "Innovate to Transform," with a special focus on 6G, Quantum Communication, AI, Cybersecurity, and Startups.

IMC 2025: Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate IMC 2025 at the Yashobhoomi International Convention Centre in New Delhi. The event will host approximately 1.5 lakh visitors, 7,000 delegates, and 400 companies from over 150 countries. IMC 2025 will feature discussions on 6G, Quantum Communication, Cybersecurity, and AI, while also providing new opportunities for startups and investors. Its objective is to showcase India's leading role in digital technology and global innovation.

Launch of IMC 2025 and Key Figures

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 at the Yashobhoomi International Convention Centre in New Delhi. This mega event will see participation from approximately 1.5 lakh visitors, 7,000 delegates, and over 400 companies from more than 150 countries. The primary objective of IMC 2025 is to showcase India's global leadership in the digital and technology sectors.

This year's theme is "Innovate to Transform." Under this theme, important topics such as 6G, Quantum Communication, Satcom, Cybersecurity, and Semiconductors will be discussed. Additionally, the event will host AI and Cyber Security Summits, highlighting India's strategy to promote responsible and secure technology.

Opportunities for Startups and Investors

For the first time at IMC 2025, the IMC Aspire Program will be held. It will bring together 500 startups and over 300 investors face-to-face. This platform will provide opportunities for startups to secure funding and partnerships. This initiative is expected to strengthen India's startup ecosystem.

Startups will have the chance to connect with global investors. This will promote new technologies and innovation, benefiting the country's digital economy.

Focus on SATCOM and Digital Connectivity

A SATCOM Summit will also be organized at IMC 2025. It will feature discussions on extending satellite-based communication services to rural and remote areas. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that the government has so far issued three SATCOM licenses, which will enhance connectivity and digital access across the country.

Concurrently, there will be a special emphasis on AI and Cybersecurity. To ensure the security of digital platforms, attention will be given to protecting the data of 1.2 billion users.

Global Participation at IMC 2025

Delegations from countries such as Japan, Canada, UK, Russia, Ireland, and Austria will participate in the event. In total, over 400 companies, 7,000 delegates, and 1.5 lakh visitors will be part of this mega event. This will further strengthen India's global tech partnerships and advance new technological collaborations.
