PM Modi Pays Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Death Anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary. PM Modi visited the 'Sadaiv Atal' memorial and recalled Vajpayee's leadership, spirit of service, and his contribution to the development of the country. President Droupadi Murmu, Union Ministers, and the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, along with many other dignitaries, were also present.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee: On the death anniversary of the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him at the 'Sadaiv Atal' memorial on Saturday. On this occasion, President Droupadi Murmu, Union Ministers, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, along with many other dignitaries, were also present. PM Modi respectfully bowed to Vajpayee on behalf of the countrymen, recalling his leadership, service to the nation, and contribution to building a developed and self-reliant India.

Contribution of Dedication and Spirit of Service

Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform 'X' that he respectfully bows to Vajpayee on behalf of all the countrymen. He said that his dedication towards the holistic development and spirit of service to the nation remains an inspiration for the country. Vajpayee's vision and ethical leadership are still examples for politics and social service in India today.

On this occasion, President Droupadi Murmu, Union Ministers, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, along with many other dignitaries, visited the 'Sadaiv Atal' memorial and paid tribute to the late Prime Minister.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Served as Prime Minister Three Times

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was among the founding leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and served as the country's Prime Minister three times. His first term in 1996 was only for 13 days. After that, he served for 13 months in 1998, and in 1999, he became the first non-Congress Prime Minister to complete a full term for the third time.

Vajpayee is credited with promoting economic reforms in the country and accelerating India's path to development. His leadership and policy-making have been a symbol of stability and progress in the country.
