A protest in Patna during a bandh called by the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) regarding the voter list revision campaign in Bihar has sparked a new debate in the state's politics. The protest saw the participation of Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and several other prominent leaders. However, an incident during the protest created a stir in political circles. Security personnel prevented Kanhaiya Kumar, the National In-charge of NSUI (National Students' Union of India), and Pappu Yadav, the leader of Jan Adhikar Party, from getting on a truck. The entire incident was captured on camera and quickly went viral on social media.
Now, Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj Party, has openly targeted the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) and Congress regarding this incident. He said that the RJD is so afraid of an emerging and influential leader like Kanhaiya Kumar that he was kept away from the stage.
RJD Afraid of Leaders Like Kanhaiya
During a public meeting in Sitamarhi, Prashant Kishor said that Kanhaiya Kumar is one of the most influential faces of the Congress in Bihar, but the top leadership of the RJD feels threatened by him. He alleged that the RJD believes that if leaders like Kanhaiya become active in the Congress, they could challenge the leadership. This is the reason they were deliberately kept away from the stage.
Kishor also stated that the RJD doesn't want a b and independent leadership to emerge in the Congress that would speak or make decisions against their will.
Congress in Bihar is Now Just a Nominal Party
Prashant Kishor also questioned the current situation of the Congress. He said that the Congress no longer has any independent political standing in Bihar. The party only does what the RJD decides. The Congress has no policies or leadership of its own and appears to be completely standing behind the RJD.
Following this entire statement, a new political upheaval has begun in Bihar's politics. Now, it remains to be seen how the Congress and the RJD react to this statement.
