Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony to be held on July 1 at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Gorakhpur (MGUG) by President Droupadi Murmu should be made grand and memorable.
MGUG: July 1st is going to witness another historic achievement at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University (MGUG) in Gorakhpur. President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the newly constructed academic building, state-of-the-art auditorium, and Panchkarma center at MGUG on this day, and the foundation stone of the Girls' Hostel will also be laid by her. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued strict instructions to administrative officials to make this important program grand, memorable, and inspiring.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself visited MGUG on Friday evening to inspect the preparations for the event. After the inspection, in a review meeting held at the guest house, the Chief Minister said that the arrival of the President is a matter of pride not only for the university but for the entire Purvanchal region. This university is getting the opportunity to welcome the President for the second time before completing its four years, which is a symbol of its growing prestige.
CM Yogi's Strict Instructions
Chief Minister Yogi told the officials that the President's program should be well-organized, grand, and convenient. The cleanliness of the event venue, facilities for visitors, security arrangements, traffic management, and every other small and big aspect should be closely monitored. The Chief Minister clearly stated that the stage, pandal, route map, parking, and seating arrangements for visitors should not be disorganized under any circumstances.
He reminded them that the success of the MGUG inauguration program by the then President Ram Nath Kovind on August 28, 2021, is still appreciated by the people, and the same decorum and grandeur should be ensured this time as well. The Chief Minister said that this program will play a major role in the rapid progress of MGUG and will also be an inspiration for other institutions in the future.
Emphasis on Real-time Coordination
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to maintain real-time coordination between the security agencies, district administration, police, and university administration. In any emergency or need, immediate coordination should be established so that there is no hindrance in the program. Yogi Adityanath said that adequate parking, route diversion, and traffic arrangements should also be ensured for the guests coming from Gorakhpur and nearby districts.
Before the review meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also inspected the proposed route and stage venue of the President. He also reviewed the strength of the pandal, fire-fighting arrangements, CCTV cameras, and the efficiency of security equipment. The Chief Minister said that all the routes through which the President's convoy will pass should be kept in good condition and a cleanliness drive should be carried out around the event venue to make it completely spotless.
President to also inaugurate Ayush University
In addition, President Droupadi Murmu will also inaugurate the Ayush University being built in Gorakhpur. The Chief Minister said that Ayush University will strengthen traditional medical practices in Gorakhpur and surrounding areas and will create a new chapter in health services. He said that there should be no lapse in the inauguration ceremony and special monitoring should be done on every aspect.
