Sports News: The PKL 2025 season will begin on August 29th and will be held in Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, Chennai, and Delhi. 'Tie-breaker Rule' and Golden Raid to Increase Excitement
This season will see the introduction of the 'Tie-breaker Rule'. Under this, if a match ends in a tie, the Golden Raid format will be applied. In the Golden Raid, the first team to score a point in the raid will win the match. Top-8 Teams of League Stage will get a Chance to Playoff
The playoff structure has also been changed in PKL 2025. For the first time, the top eight teams of the league stage will get a chance to qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams of the league stage have been given a special advantage. These two teams will face each other in Qualifier 1, with the winner directly entering the final.
