Punjab Congress Shaheedi Conference: Warring Alleges Arora's CM Ambitions, Bajwa Criticizes Mann

Major Political Statement at Punjab Congress' Shaheedi Conference. Warring Claims Aman Arora Wants to be Chief Minister. Bajwa Accuses Bhagwant Mann of Inexperience.

Punjab: At the Congress' Shaheedi Conference held in Isru, Ludhiana, party leaders paid tribute to Shaheed Karnail Singh. During the event, Punjab Congress President Raja Warring made a significant statement, claiming that Aman Arora wants to replace Bhagwant Mann as Chief Minister in the Aam Aadmi Party.

Major Political Discussion Arises from Shaheedi Conference

Punjab Congress organized a Shaheedi Conference in Isru (Ludhiana) in memory of Shaheed Karnail Singh, a martyr of Goa's independence. It was also named the "Save the Constitution Rally." The event was attended by Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Partap Singh Bajwa, former minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, former minister Gurkirat Singh Kotli, and Kaka Randeep Singh, among other senior leaders.

Congress leaders paid tribute to Karnail Singh by laying wreaths on his statue. Raja Warring stated that Congress has always respected martyrs and will continue to do so. He said that Congress has made many sacrifices for the establishment of peace and harmony in the country.

Congress' Message: Respect for Martyrs is True Politics

Raja Warring said in a conversation with the media that Congress believes in remembering martyrs and promoting their ideals. Referring to martyrs like Sardar Beant Singh and Karnail Singh, he said that the freedom we enjoy today is possible because of their great sacrifices.

Warring's Statement on the CM Race in Congress

When the media asked Warring about internal strife in the Congress and the potential CM face, he said, "First, let the 'broom' people manage their own party; our turn will come later." He was alluding to the Aam Aadmi Party.

Warring said, without naming anyone, that Punjab government minister Aman Arora is also in the race to become Chief Minister and wants to remove Bhagwant Mann and become CM himself. However, Warring clarified that he himself is neither in the race for the Chief Minister's post nor does he have ambitions to become a minister. His aim is only to strengthen the Congress and form the party's government in Punjab.

Partap Singh Bajwa Directly Targets

Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa also launched a scathing attack on CM Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party from the stage. He said that Bhagwant Mann has no experience in running the government. Bajwa alleged that the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party follow the orders of Delhi and that is where their real decisions are made.

He said that if God is kind in 2027, the Congress government will be formed, and no one will be spared at that time. He even said that arrangements will be made in advance at Amritsar and Delhi airports so that accountability can be fixed.

Randhawa Warns About Land Pooling

Former minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa questioned the policies of the Punjab government, saying that the current administration has planned to ruin the state. Referring to the land pooling case, he said that the first case will be registered against the Chief Secretary involved in this scheme after the Congress government is formed.

Randhawa said that legal action will also be taken against the officials who are registering false cases, and they will be sent to jail. He challenged Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to register cases against Congress leaders and send them to jail if he has the courage.
