In Sikar, Rajasthan, youths from the '5600 Group' went viral on social media after performing dangerous stunts with Fortuners, Scorpios, and Thars on an airstrip. Police took strict action against this unauthorized stunt, seizing four vehicles and issuing citations.
Sikar: The craze for creating reels on social media often leads young people down a path where they gain fame but also face the clutches of the law. The latest case is from Sikar district in Rajasthan, where youths from a local gang called '5600 Group' turned an airstrip into a racing track. As soon as the video of dangerous stunts performed with luxury cars went viral, police action dampened the entire group's enthusiasm.
Social Media Mania and the Race for 'Show Off'
In today's time, the desire for likes and followers on social media has increased so much among young people that they disregard safety, rules, laws, and social responsibilities. Some youths from Sikar's '5600 Group' did just that. Without permission, they performed film-style stunts with luxury cars like Fortuners, Scorpios, and Thars on the Tarpura airstrip. They were seen driving cars at high speeds, applying brakes, and creating smoke.
Reel Goes Viral, Police Take Cognizance
As soon as the reel of these stunts went viral on Instagram and other social media platforms, people started criticizing it. Simultaneously, the police administration immediately sprang into action. Based on the viral video, the vehicles were identified, and a series of actions were initiated.
Four Vehicles Seized, Case Under Motor Vehicle Act
Station House Officer of Dadiya Police Station, Ashok Kumar, stated that four vehicles shown in the viral video have been seized, including one Fortuner and three black Scorpios. A case has been registered against the owners of the vehicles under various sections of the Motor Vehicle Act. Furthermore, considering stunt performances in a public and sensitive location without permission as a serious offense, a fine has also been imposed.
Airstrip Becomes Hub of Illegal Demonstrations
It is surprising that this type of activity was carried out without administrative permission at a secure and restricted location like the Tarpura airstrip. There was no security arrangement of any kind, which not only violated the law but also endangered the safety of the general public.
Police's Strict Warning: No Relief Next Time
Dadiya Station House Officer has clearly stated that 'Such acts will not be tolerated again. A special team has been formed to monitor social media, which will keep an eye on such illegal activities.' The police are now identifying other 'stunt groups' and a special campaign has been launched to curb such activities in Sikar.
'5600 Group': A Search for Fame or Illegal 'Glamour'?
The '5600 Group', which is locally famous, is not a formal organization, but rather an informal group of youths who are in a race to make a name for themselves in the world of reels and luxury cars. Their social media accounts are filled with stunt videos, racing clips, and posts of a 'glamorous' car lifestyle. This group has been in the news before for violating traffic rules, but this time the matter concerns interference in an administrative security area.
