The Rajasthan SOG has arrested two accused involved in facilitating cheating through Bluetooth in the High Court LDC recruitment. Investigations revealed that the gang charged lakhs of rupees to help candidates pass, and the entire conspiracy was exposed after the mastermind's arrest.
Jaipur: The Rajasthan SOG's crackdown on ongoing fraud in government job recruitments has intensified. In a recent major scam exposed in the High Court LDC recruitment examination, the SOG has arrested two candidates. These candidates were part of a Bluetooth cheating gang and spent lakhs of rupees to pass the exam by cheating. Investigations have also clarified that organized cheating mafias have been active in most recruitments over the past few years.
Bluetooth Cheating Case in High Court LDC Recruitment
The High Court LDC recruitment examination was hitherto considered a transparent process, but the SOG's investigation has revealed its true nature. Two candidates had struck a deal with a Bluetooth gang for Rs 4 lakh each to facilitate cheating. The gang provided them with answers to the questions, and based on this, both candidates were selected.
The SOG found in its investigation that the same pattern was followed in this examination as seen in other major examinations. That is, the gang provided answers using technological devices and Bluetooth to solve the paper. Now, with the case coming to light, questions are being raised about the credibility of the recruitment.
High Court Recruitment Cheating Exposed After Arrest of Mastermind
The SOG has previously apprehended several cheating mafias and masterminds of paper leak gangs. One such accused, named Paurav Kaler, is currently lodged in Jaipur jail. During interrogation of Kaler, information about irregularities in the High Court recruitment was obtained. He confessed that his gang had facilitated cheating for several candidates in the LDC examination.
This revelation later formed the basis for several arrests. Kaler had stated that the candidates involved in the recruitment were directly provided with answers via Bluetooth. Following this statement, the SOG intensified its investigation and succeeded in apprehending two candidates.
Both Arrested Candidates
According to SOG ADG V.K. Singh, the arrested accused include Ram Prakash Jat from Nagaur and Sunil Bishnoi from Hanumangarh. Both had appeared in the LDC recruitment examination held in 2023 and were selected with the help of the Bluetooth gang. Ram Prakash's examination center was in Nagaur, while Sunil's examination took place in Hanumangarh.
Paurav Kaler's gang was behind facilitating cheating for both candidates. Notably, the accused Ram Prakash had previously been apprehended in a cheating case related to the EO-RO recruitment examination. This means it was not the first time he had colluded with an organized gang.
Accused Were Absconding for Fear of Arrest
After Paurav Kaler's arrest, when he began naming candidates involved in cheating, many candidates absconded from their jobs. Ram Prakash Jat and Sunil Bishnoi were among them. Both remained absent from duty for approximately six to seven months.
Ram Prakash was posted at the POCSO Court in Udaipur, while Sunil was appointed to the District and Sessions Court in Hanumangarh. However, both remained absent from their duties out of fear of arrest. The SOG has now arrested them and is preparing to tighten its grip on other suspected candidates.
