Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav has accused the Yogi government of creating a bad atmosphere and misleading the public regarding the Fatehpur mausoleum-temple dispute. Additionally, MP Awadhesh Prasad has condemned the government's communal policies and assured that the struggle will continue.
Fatehpur Dispute Politics: The ongoing dispute over the mausoleum and temple in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, has taken on a political dimension. Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, in the Parliament premises, accused the Yogi government of attempting to spoil the atmosphere at the behest of the government. Meanwhile, Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad said that communalism has increased due to the BJP government at the Center and in the state, and they will continue the struggle in the Vidhan Sabha, Lok Sabha, and on the streets. This dispute will further heat up the political atmosphere in the state.
Sharp Attack on Yogi Government
The mausoleum and temple dispute in Fatehpur has increased the political temperature. Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav has accused the Yogi government of colluding with the administration to spoil the atmosphere. She said that the government is trying to mislead the public because it has realized its failures. Similarly, SP's Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad also questioned the communal policies of the Yogi government and said that hatred has increased in the country after the BJP came to power in the Center and the state. Both leaders described the dispute as part of a policy of political vendetta and appealed for maintaining peace in the state.
Allegations of Spreading Communalism and Hatred Against Yogi Government
Dimple Yadav clarified that the government's role in fueling the dispute is suspicious. She said that the atmosphere is being spoiled at the behest of the administration, which is weakening the social fabric of the state. Meanwhile, Awadhesh Prasad, while appreciating the role of the Supreme Court, said that the judiciary has recently tried to save the country from communal fire by issuing orders on mosque and temple disputes. He said that the Samajwadi Party has always been against communalism and the Fatehpur dispute should be seen in the same context.
SP's Strong Stance Towards Democracy and Struggle
SP MP Awadhesh Prasad said that they will continue the struggle in the Vidhan Sabha, Lok Sabha, and on the streets because the government is trying to suppress the voice of the opposition. He said that the government is weakening democracy by passing bills without understanding the need for the opposition. He termed this attitude as dictatorial and said that it is the responsibility of the opposition to protect democracy and stop this step of the government. SP leaders have also appealed to the public to view this sensitive issue peacefully and avoid giving a communal colour to politics.
